Warrior League Rules

Because nobody wants to be that guy.

  • If the score is tied after seven (7) complete innings have been played, the game shall end as a tie game. In post-season play only the League will break ties using the International Tie Breaker procedure as described in the Official Rules.

  • If seven (7) full innings (or 6 1/2 if the home team is ahead) have not been completed by the seventy (70) minute mark, then the umpire shall make a “no new inning” at the seventy (70) minute mark. This means the next inning will begin the unlimited runs inning.

The “Flip-Flop” Rule.

When the VISITING team has a lead of eight (8) runs or more after 5 1/2 innings of play, the the HOME team bats twice and the Visitors then bat in the bottom of the seventh inning (if necessary) to finish the game.

For example, in a worst case scenario where the HOME team has a 25-0 lead after 5 1/2 innings. The home team WILL bat in the bottom of the sixth inning with an opportunity to make the score 30-0.

The Warriors League does not permit side arrangements between managers/umpires to contravene the Flip-Flop Rule.
